White Horse Employment is proud to be partnering with a well established, highly regarded professional services organisation to recruit an Assistant Finance Analyst to join their finance team. Your day to day responsibilities are:
* Working within the finance team and liaising with other business areas to create and maintain a library of regular reports
* Extracting and linking data from multiple systems and presenting results in a clear, meaningful way
* Supporting the ongoing maintenance and development of data visualisation and reporting tools
* Assisting with budget and forecasting models in Excel
* Helping to standardise reporting processes to improve month on month reporting efficiency
* Working with IT teams and external providers to understand available data sources
* Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and improve systems and processes
* Ensuring reporting documentation and governance standards are followed
What we’re looking for:
* An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
* Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
* Experience producing management information, reports, or working with data
* Ability to work with complex data and turn it into clear, useful insights
* Advanced Excel skills (including formulas, macros or VBA would be an advantage)
* Experience working with large or complex data sets
* A good working knowledge of SQL
* Familiarity with tools such as Power Query, PivotTables, or Business Intelligence (BI tools)
* A proactive, organised approach with a strong focus on delivery
Desirable:
* AAT qualification or accounting experience alongside data or IT skills
