EXCITING CAREER OPPORTUNITY- GENERAL MANAGER- THE TEMPLE DONCASTER
We are seeking a dynamic enthusiastic and experienced General Manager to lead and oversee operations at our venue the Temple Doncaster. The ideal candidate will be vibrant have a good understanding of the operational side of hospitality whilst displaying fantastic leadership skills.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone to be part of a busy and well established bar and restaurant, working directly alongside the business Directors to nurture and elevate this family business to the next level. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth functioning of our bar and restaurant whilst fostering a positive environment for both staff and customers.
RESPONSBILITIES
· Overseeing daily operations of the bar, ensuring a high standard of service.
· Supervise and lead a team of staff, providing guidance to support and enhance their performance.
· Collaborate with Directors to create initiatives within the bar and restaurant.
· Work directly alongside managers from our sister companies Saddle and Shot and O'Donegans Irish bar.
· Implement training programmes for staff to promote their skill development.
· Monitor inventory levels, ordering stock and supplies to maintain efficient operations.
· Having a clear understanding of local events and how this will affect footfall. Providing a marketing strategy to enhance profits during this time. Ensuring events are promoted and promote theme days within the premises.
· Monitoring social media and promoting the business.
· Handling customer enquiries and complaints professionally ensuring satisfaction at all levels.
. Dealing with Sales and Marketing enquiries in the lead up to peak times.
REQUIREMENTS
· Proactivity, reliability and a record of being trustworthy is essential.
· Experience within a managerial role.
· Meeting sales and profitability targets.
. Experience in the field of sales and marketing.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
· Excellent organisation skills with a keen attention to detail.
· Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high levels of service.
· Strong initiative and creativity to ensure the business is progressing and moving in the right direction.
