Risk Manager
to help embed our risk framework, strengthen our governance, and help our leaders make informed, confident decisions.
This is a 3 month Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
As Risk Manager, you'll be at the heart of our mission to identify, assess, and manage risks across the business. Partnering with senior management and teams across the organisation, you'll:
* Embed our corporate risk management framework to support compliance with the latest Corporate Governance Code (Provision 29).
* Facilitate risk workshops that go beyond theory – driving real debate, ownership, and effective mitigation.
* Provide insightful analysis and consolidated reporting that empowers the Board and senior leaders to make robust, risk-aware decisions.
* Promote a culture of awareness, resilience, and proactive risk management through training, advice, and expertise.
* Act as a trusted advisor on governance, liaising with internal stakeholders and external auditors where required.
About You
We're looking for a confident and resilient professional who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will bring:
* Experience in risk management within a large, complex organisation
* You will have the ability to make Risk management straightforward for people across the business to engage with
* A strong understanding of modern risk management best practice and risk-based internal control frameworks.
* The ability to lead effective workshops, influence senior stakeholders, and communicate complex issues with clarity.
* Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIIA, CII, or ARM (desirable, but not essential).
* Strong analytical skills, IT literacy, and the pragmatism to turn frameworks into meaningful, practical outcomes.

* Salary £60,0000 - £70,000 per annum / pro rata based on 3 months - dependant on skills and experience
* 3-4 days per week onsite in Hatfield, 1 day WFH
