We are expanding our team and have a fantastic opportunity for a GP Receptionist/Administrator to join Quarryfoot Practice in Bonnyrigg.

5. Should be flexible to be able to cover staff absence within the practice.
6. Enthusiastic and motivated, has attention to detail.
7. A team player, who works well with others but also unsupervised in often complex and unpredictable situations.
8. Tech-savvy comfortable with IT and learning new systems quickly. Computer literacy and keyboard skills are essential.
9. Strong sense of confidentiality.
10. An excellent communicator you'll be dealing with patients, staff, and visitors, so strong interpersonal skills are a must!
The Role:
As a GP Receptionist/Administrator, you'll be the first point of contact for our patients managing appointments, answering calls, signposting patients to the right services and handling complex administrative tasks. Youll be an essential part of our healthcare team, ensuring the smooth operation of the Practice, and providing the best service to our patients.
Previous experience within GP Practice and knowledge of EMIS and Docman clinical system is desirable, but consideration will be given to skills that are relevant and transferrable for this position and full training will also be provided.
