The Role
Urban Space and Travel Company Limited operate serviced apartments, apartment hotels, co‑working, meeting and event space in Cardiff and the Vale. To increase local exposure, global offering and ultimately revenues from both the leisure and business travel sectors, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager with a hospitality background to support the business growth plan.
Responsibilities
You will take the lead to grow local, project‑based corporate business and develop relationships with major travel agents, increasing existing accounts together with developing new accounts by planned coordinated sales activity.
You will be accountable for the effective management of all aspects of the sales function, including sales calls, research, appointment‑making, client familiarisation visits and contract negotiation.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the sales team, working alongside the team to maximise all sales opportunities and convert enquiries.
Qualifications
Previous experience of achieving sales, developing and implementing a sales strategy is essential for this role.
As Sales Manager you will inspire all members of the team to drive the delivery of sales targets and excellent service delivery. You will be a strong communicator with a track record from B2B sales experience. Fast‑paced experience is required.
In this role you will be required to travel; therefore you must have a valid driving licence. As part of the management team your working pattern will include flexibility.
