As the Procurement Manager, you will manage, drive, coordinate and oversee the strategic sourcing of goods, raw materials and equipment, international as well as domestic markets, to ensure that thepany’s operational needs are met. You will be responsible for driving purchase quality, service and value delivery to ensure continuity of supply.
1. You will lead a buying team, but you will have your own experience of sourcing from international and domestic markets.
2. Working with your team, you will ensure you get the best value for the products purchased, working with key colleagues ensuring correct suppliers are in place to deliver the goods and services needed whilst ensuring control of working capital.
3. You will drive cost savings, continuous improvement and maintaining technicallypliant supply.
4. You will need to consider the legal aspects of buying and understand the needs and processes of the business.
5. ou will maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers for future products or gaps in the market as well as part of any ongoing tendering/contract renewal processes.
6. Whilst reporting to the site supply chain manager, you will also work closely with the Group Supply Chain Director.
This is a full-time and permanent role paying up to £50k.
