The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialist Radiographer / Qualified Mammographer to join our team in Norwich. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Breast Imaging department for a Specialist Radiographer / Qualified Mammographer. We are committed to staying at the forefront of developments in breast imaging.
Your main responsibilities:
* Provide a professional, high-quality mammographic imaging service.
* Work in both the symptomatic service and NHS Breast Screening Programme.
* Produce mammograms of the highest standard.
* Supervise Assistant Practitioners, trainee Mammographers, and trainee Mammography Associates.
* Ensure the technical quality of screening films.
* Recognize abnormalities on mammograms and seek advice from Radiologists.
* Communicate effectively with women to reassure them during the screening process.
* Image both fresh and formalin-fixed breast specimens.
* Adhere to Health & Safety and Ionising Radiation Regulations.
What we are looking for:
* Experience managing a team of physiotherapists.
* BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.
* HCPC registered.
* Broad range of physiotherapy skills, including MSK.
* Permanent right to work in the UK.
* Previous experience in Mammography.
* Experience with NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHSBSP).
