We're looking for an Environmental Advisor to join our Natural Resources team to deliver projects for our Thames Water framework, based from our home but travelling weekly to sites and offices across the patch.
Location: a site based role across Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Greater London with some travel to our Gerrards Cross office.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.

Responsibilities
As an Environmental Advisor, you will provide guidance and support to project delivery teams to maintain environmental legal compliance and support delivery of the Kier Building for a Sustainable World Framework.
Your Day To Day Will Include
* Acting as the first point of contact for project and design teams concerning environmental management
* Assisting or leading the development of the project Environmental Management System and identifying, developing, and facilitating environmental training
* Conducting environmental audits and site inspections and supporting third‑party audits
* Identifying and supporting project teams to obtain and comply with regulatory and client requirements and attending client meetings and industry forums as required
* Completing reports on activity, inspection findings, incidents, action plan items and KPIs
What are we looking for?
This role is great for you if you have:
* Experience in environmental management and in assessing environmental aspects and impacts
* A practice of developing mitigation proposals and implementing environmental management procedures to avoid or reduce environmental effects
* Good knowledge and practical experience of developing, implementing and improving EMSs certified to BS EN ISO 14001
* Knowledge of statutory environmental requirements such as Air quality; Community; Ecology and biodiversity; Health; Landscape and visual; Sound, noise and vibration; Traffic and transport; Water resources and flood risk; Waste and materials; Climate change/carbon management
