Join a fast-growing skincare brand as Assistant Financial Accountant – 12-week contract with potential to go permanent!.
We’re working with a fast-growing, modern skincare brand that’s making waves in the beauty industry – and they’re looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their close-knit team on an initial 12-week contract, with the potential for a permanent role.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a brilliant opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all areas of finance in a high-growth, product-led environment.
This is offered on a hybrid basis with 3 days in the office.
Key responsibilities:
* Supporting US order processing and review
* Managing accounts payable and weekly payment runs
* Handling employee expenses
* Preparing weekly KPIs with insights on product launches and promotions
* Producing BDM dashboards and analysis
* Assisting with payroll, annual PSA/Taxed Award Scheme and P11Ds
* Managing commission and rebates for BDMs and affiliates
* Supporting promotion forecasting and planning
* Overseeing Amazon replenishment stock checks and order uploads
* Building stock knowledge from product/SKU updates and marketing briefings
* Performing balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany
* Preparing monthly KPIs and analytical reporting
Key skills:
* Ideally studying towards an accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA)
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
* Excellent Excel skills and confidence with data analysis
* A genuine interest in the beauty or consumer goods industry is a plus!
