Role: Provision Teacher Daily Rate: £130–£170 Location: Whitby We are working with an inclusive and nurturing provision in the Whitby area that is committed to helping every learner thrive. The setting supports pupils with a range of additional needs and promotes a calm, structured environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and resilience. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and adaptable Provision Teacher to support pupils within this specialist setting. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in alternative or SEND provision who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. The successful candidate will bring creativity, patience, and a trauma-informed approach. Experience with SEND, SEMH, or behaviour management is highly valued. Key responsibilities include: • Planning and delivering tailored lessons for small groups or individuals • Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs • Creating a calm and inclusive learning environment • Working closely with support staff and external agencies • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues A supportive and skilled team is in place, with ongoing training and development opportunities available.
