Role OverviewThe company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to support its financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and supporting the wider finance team with timely and accurate data. This role plays a vital part in the company's ability to make informed strategic decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintains and corrects the company's books of accounts with a high level of accuracyTracks all payments, receivables, and revenue streamsRecords daily financial transactions and updates the general ledgerPrepares journal entries and verifies documents and billsDrafts and manages purchase orders while corresponding with vendors as requiredPrepares and organises documentation for tax complianceAssists in preparing trial balances for review by accountantsMonitors cash flow and produces financial reports to support managerial decisionsOrganises and maintains financial records, including bank reconciliations, cash flow statements, and profit and loss statementsEnsures all financial data is accurate, reconciled, and properly trackedMay handle payroll processing, depending on the size and structure of the organizationCandidate ProfileDemonstrated experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar financial roleProficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalentStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulationsExceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracyCapable of working independently and collaboratively within a teamExcellent organisational and time management skillsClear and effective communicator, both written and verbalWhat the Company OffersA supportive and flexible working environmentOpportunities for professional growth and developmentA collaborative and inclusive workplace culture[Optional: Hybrid work options, employee benefits, wellness initiatives, team-building events, etc.
