Description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Admin and Bookkeeping Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in accounting and finance while gaining hands-on experience in an established practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle incoming calls, emails, and client enquiries professionally.
* Maintain accurate client records and update the practice management system.
* Assist in preparing engagement letters, filing correspondence, and managing deadlines.
* Support the onboarding of new clients and maintain compliance documentation.
* Organise digital and paper filing systems.
* Provide general office support such as scanning, printing, and scheduling meetings.
* Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping for clients using software such as Xero/ QuickBooks.
* Record purchase and sales invoices accurately.
* Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash.
Key Requirements
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade 6 or above.
* No prior bookkeeping experience required, but an interest in accounting and finance is essential.

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
