As a Record to Report Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. From preparing and uploading journals to managing fixed asset registers and bank reconciliations, you'll be central to the integrity of our financial processes. You'll also contribute to process improvements, provide audit support, and deliver analysis that drives smarter decisions. What you'll do
* Prepare and upload month-end journals (e.g. prepayments, accruals, reclassifications, overhead adjustments).
* Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate and resolve variances.
* Maintain and update fixed asset registers; oversee depreciation, disposals and transfers.
* Prepare daily bank reconciliations, weekly liquidity and cashflow reports.
* Support audits with accurate schedules and documentation.
* Deliver variance analysis for monthly profit and loss accounts.
* Contribute to reporting packs, disclosures and ad-hoc accounting tasks.
* Identify and support process and control improvements.
Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
* Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (or actively studying).
* Experience in a similar role within a law firm or professional services environment.
* Knowledge of 3E, Elite Enterprise, or similar systems (preferred).
* Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and time management.
* Clear communicator with confidence, enthusiasm and a collaborative mindset.
