Position: Senior HR Business Partner

Location: Newbury

Salary: Strong basic salary

Hours: Monday to Friday (hybrid working, with c.1 day per week in Clapham)

The Opportunity

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are proudly working with our long-standing people-focused client who are seeking a forward-thinking and relationship-driven Senior HR Business Partner to join their growing team.

As Senior HR Business Partner, you will lead and manage the full HR lifecycle across a range of clients while providing trusted and strategic HR advice. You will work closely with business leaders to shape HR strategy, guide key decisions and ensure clients receive tailored, commercially focused support that builds long-term relationships and delivers genuine value.

The successful candidate will be confident managing complex employee relations matters, advising on sensitive issues, and leading HR transformation and change.

This role will suit someone who thrives in a collaborative setting, and takes pride in contributing to a positive and high-performing team culture. Working together to achieve the best outcomes for clients is at the heart of what this business does.

Responsibilities

You will join a team of experienced HR professionals who collaborate, share knowledge and support one another in developing both personally and professionally. This environment offers the chance to work directly with senior leaders, contribute to key business decisions and help shape the future growth of the organisation.


Requirements

* Proven experience in a senior HR leadership position such as HR Business Partner or Senior HR Consultant
* CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification
* Confident managing the full HR lifecycle and handling complex employee relations cases
* Strategic mindset with a strong ability to build, maintain and influence client relationships
* Commercial awareness and a desire to contribute to business growth and success
* Excellent understanding of UK employment law, HR best practice and compliance
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle to travel to client sites
