Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and managing vibrant leisure facilities? We’re looking for a Duty Officer to join our Leisure team within Community and Environmental Services.
What you’ll do:
* Oversee the day-to-day running of a large leisure facility, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and outstanding customer service.
* Lead and motivate a team, allocating tasks and maintaining high standards.
* Respond to customer queries and complaints professionally.
* Manage cash handling and daily reconciliations.
* Support health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and emergency procedures.
* Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
* RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or willingness to achieve within 3 months).
* Pool Plant Operators Certificate and First Aid at Work (or ability to achieve within 6 months).
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and deliver excellent customer service.
* Experience in a busy leisure environment and knowledge of health and safety procedures.
