About the role
As a Moorepay Commercial Account Executive, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients. Developing strong relationships with customers, you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of their business operations and identify their requirements to present commercially viable solutions from Moorepay’s product portfolio.
You will be accountable for direct client communication and sales revenue, articulating Moorepay’s products and services effectively by engaging with C-Level Executives and following a structured sales process. You'll analyze client trends, develop sales strategies to cross-sell and upsell within your existing portfolio, and leverage relationships to attract new clients. Collaboration with Operations and Marketing will be essential to develop strategies and resolve client conflicts. You should be action-oriented, structured, possess technical software skills, and be capable of working across a large stakeholder base to ensure aligned sales propositions.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Holding regular account reviews to understand client requirements.
2. Maintaining thorough knowledge of the company’s products and services.
3. Presenting solutions through demonstrations and proposals tailored to client needs.
4. Building and maintaining relationships to attract and retain clients.
5. Driving revenue growth within your portfolio.
6. Forecasting revenue monthly and quarterly to exceed targets.
7. Developing strategies for revenue growth.
8. Collaborating with the team on strategies and proposals for revenue enhancement.
9. Representing the company professionally and fostering excellent client relationships.
10. Responding to customer inquiries and resolving service issues.
Skills & experience
* Proven sales professional with experience in a quota-carrying role (£200k TCV or more annually).
* Excellent customer service skills at all organizational levels.
* Strong conflict resolution abilities to deliver client-focused solutions.
* Excellent listening and negotiation skills.
* In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing software, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or Sugar) and MS Office.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Advanced organizational and interpersonal skills.
