Junior Electrical Engineer
Location: Knowsley (Field-Based – UK Travel Required)

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 OTE: £38,338 - £52,500
Contract: 3–6 months (Temp to Perm)
Shift: Monday to Friday with travel (2–4 nights away per week)
We’re looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join a growing technical engineering team supporting critical energy infrastructure across the UK.
This is a field-based role working on a variety of high-value industrial sites including processing plants, renewable energy facilities, and bulk storage locations. You’ll support both planned and reactive maintenance, as well as installations and upgrades of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on site
Work on control panels, distribution systems, and site infrastructure
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
Assist with PPM activities and compliance checks
Work across multiple sites in high-risk industrial energy environments
Requirements:
Electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working with control panels and industrial systems
Exposure to PLCs / Siemens systems (beneficial)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away during the week
Hands-on, practical approach with a strong work ethic
