We've got an exciting opportunity to recruit Ie Officers in Warrington on behalf of our well-established social housing client. This is a minimum 6 month contract, with possible extensions, working on a hybrid basis and 2 x set office days per week.
Our client are looking for candidates with proven experience within an Ie Recovery/Maximisation role, ideally with a social housing environment or similar, with a good understanding of ie/rent recovery processes, housing legislation and best practice. Ideally, you will have experience using the QL system.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage your own caseload of customer accounts, ensuring ie maximisation and minimal rent arrears for the group
2. Liaise with customers via telephone, email, or face to face visits where required to discuss arrears and bring accounts back up to date
3. Take early intervention andplete ie, expenditure and affordability assessments to agree affordable repayment plans
4. Prepare pre-court paperwork and initiate legal proceedings where appropriate to recover outstanding arrears
5. Work closely with Tenancy Sustainment Officers, Neighbourhood Officers and Enforcement Officers within the group, as well as other external agencies
What you'll need to succeed
6. Experience in an ie recovery role within social housing, with a good understanding of legislation and best practice
7. Strong IT CRM skills, experience of QL system preferable
8. Experience ofpleting ie and expenditure forms, and agreeing affordable repayment plans
9. An understanding of welfare benefits
