Property Administrator - Northallerton

A proactive and organised Property Administrator is required to join a busy and well-established property management team based in Northallerton.

This is a key support role responsible for the smooth running of a portfolio of client properties. The successful candidate will manage maintenance requests, coordinate contractors, and ensure all property works are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to a high standard.
What's on Offer
1. Location: Northallerton, with travel to the Harrogate office required approximately once every two weeks
2. Salary: Up to £35, per annum (depending on experience)
3. Hours: Full-time OR part-time | 30-37.5 hours per week | Monday-Friday

The role offers flexibility: while a Monday-Friday commitment is expected, applicants seeking part-time hours are welcome (minimum 30 per week, with 25 considered for the right candidate).
Key Responsibilities
8. End-to-end coordination of property maintenance and repairs
9. Acting as first point of contact for tenants and landlords
10. Obtaining contractor quotes and relevant documentation
11. Scheduling works and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations
12. Monitoring compliance tasks and routine checks via the Property Management system
13. Tracking and following up on maintenance progress to completion
14. Processing and cross-checking invoices
15. Drafting tenancy agreements and maintaining accurate property records
16. Managing utility contracts and internal recharging
17. Supporting landlords and tenants with general property administration
What We're Looking For
18. Prior experience in residential lettings and/or rural property management
19. ARLA qualified (or willingness to work toward qualification)
20. IOSH qualified (or willingness to undertake training)
21. Strong understanding of property maintenance and repairs
22. Commercially astute, hands-on, and practically minded
23. Excellent organisational, communication, and people skills
24. Diligent, process-driven, and able to manage a busy workload
25. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and property management systems
26. Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
