An inclusive and forward-thinking secondary school in Barking and Dagenham, East London is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming team.

This full-time, long-term opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You’ll be working in a creative, nurturing, and high-achieving environment where every student is encouraged to reach their full potential.

This position offers a competitive daily rate of up to £110, depending on experience.

About the Role:

Provide focused 1:1 and small-group support for students across a range of subjects and key stages
Assist class teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons that meet diverse learning needs
Work closely with the SEND team to implement individual support strategies and interventions
Help students build confidence, develop independence, and make positive progress both academically and socially

Has previous experience supporting children or young people, ideally within a SEND or school environment
Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
Is adaptable, proactive, and able to collaborate effectively with staff and students
