HGV Class 1 Driver – Southam, Warwickshire
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver based in Southam, Warwickshire to join our client.

This position would suit applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver .
Shifts:
Monday to Friday
Start time: 06:00
Rates of Pay:
Monday to Friday: £17.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a HGV Class 1 Driver will include:
Class 1 trunking and trailer swaps
Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs
Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
Essential Skills:
The skills required as a HGV Class 1 Driver are:
A valid UK Category CE driving licence
A minimum of 24 months' Class 1 driving experience
No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
A valid UK CPC card and digital tachograph card
Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience:
Previous commercial driving experience
Training Provided:
Industry-related training and ongoing support
