THE ROLE
We are looking for a Scheduler to manage FAST channels across multiple regions, managing content inventories, content refreshes and working closely with platforms and marketing to drive viewing and engagement.
Key responsibilities:
1. Input and maintain information in systems and databases accurately and efficiently, providing reports where required.
2. Build and deliver schedules for FAST channels across multiple regions, working closely with VOD scheduler and VOD Manager.
3. Manage VOD schedules for platforms, aligning to FAST offerings and platform support opportunities.
4. Create bespoke stunt schedules to drive viewing and engagement across channels and platforms.
5. Monitor and analyse performance data to inform scheduling decisions.
6. Present data findings to the immediate scheduling and wider VOD teams.
7. Work closely with Senior VOD Manager on sourcing new content for platforms, offering recommendations and taking into account compliance and rights holdbacks.
8. Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve processes and planning for scheduling decisions
9. Work closely with marketing teams to secure content promotions on our partner platforms.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
Essential
10. Experience of TV scheduling systems is preferred (WURL, What’s On, Amagi, BSS etc)
11. Experience working with data platforms, comfortable extracting, analysing and presenting data.
12. Some knowledge of the TV landscape – digital and FAST services.
13. Excellent IT skills and experience of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of database and Content Management systems.
14. Interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to establish and maintain effective relations with a wide range of internal and external contacts.
15. Experience of working effectively in an administrative team, preferably a television scheduling, interactive or marketing environment.
16. Excellent multi-project and time management, planning and prioritising skills and the ability to meet fixed deadlines under pressure.
17. Evidence of checking large volumes of information, sometimes confidential, within systems and excellent attention to detail.
18. Ability to use own initiative, using judgement to escalate matters where necessary.
Desirable
19. Strong editorial instincts, knowledge and passion for content & TV.
20. Experience working on digital products, an understanding of technical and delivery processes.
21. A good understanding of on demand television services, multifaceted, tactical scheduling strategies and knowledge of key competitor on demand offerings.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Working Pattern: Hybrid Working (Mix of working from home plus two/three days a week in the office).
