Templeton and Partners are on the look for an 'IP Tech Lead' to join one of our clients and leading organisation within the Telecoms space.Location: LondonDuration: 6months InitialSummary:The main function of an IP Tech Lead is to supervise a scrum of Network Designers, Testers, and Fulfilment Engineers throughout the whole project life-cycle - from requirements gathering and analysis stages, through design, testing, delivery, and hand-over to network operations and service/network reliability teams. Job Responsibilities:Work closely and communicate proactively with Scrum Masters and Project Managers to plan project activities - daily, per sprint, as well as quarterlyProvide resource and effort estimates to Resource Managers and Scrum MastersWork closely with a scrum of network engineers and supervise their work in order to ensure their deliverables follow the companies best practicesCall-out risks, exceptions or deviations from standard processes (technical or project related) and present them to senior managementContribute in the design stage by providing valuable input and insights to Network DesignersContribute and provide insights to Fulfilment Engineers in writing MOPs and signing them offContribute and provide insights to Test Engineers in writing test plans and signing them offAct as a point of escalation during project related issues or outagesAct as an end-to-end solution owner across the different teams and functions, from kick-off to hand-overRequirements: Previous work experience required in the telecommunications sector, preferably in a solutions design roleStrong understanding about networking technologies, like routing, switching, security/firewalling, load-balancing, and QoSExperience working on Nokia 7750 service routers, Cisco IOS XR, and NXOSExperience with Fortinet firewalls and F5 load-balancers is a plus
