We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in PCA assembly processes to support and improve PCB/PCA production within our clients manufacturing environment. The role will focus on process optimisation, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across surface mount and through-hole assembly.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and improve PCA manufacturing processes, including SMT and through-hole assembly
* Interpret, review, and validate PCB/PCA CAD data, drawings, and build packs
* Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput
* Lead and contribute to DFMEA and PFMEA activities
* Support manufacturing aspects of projects, from introduction through to production
* Work closely with production, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams
* Use ERP systems to support manufacturing planning, reporting, and traceability
* Analyse production data and present findings clearly to stakeholders
Skills & Experience Required
* Minimum 5 years' experience in PCA manufacturing (SMT & through-hole)
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
* Experience working within an ERP system
* Practical experience with DFMEA and PFMEA
* Project management experience within a manufacturing environment
* Ability to work confidently on own initiative
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
