This role is central to our trading success, with a key responsibility to accelerate Dine-in sales growth (LFLs, Covers, Sales) as a member of the Trading team. You will lead the development of the commercial performance of our Dine-In business by driving guest numbers, launching impactful promotions, and delivering measurable growth.
From strategy to execution, you will design and lead trading campaigns that maximize sales, increase guest visits, and improve profitability. You will own the PizzaExpress Dine-In promotional calendar end-to-end, transforming key moments into high-impact campaigns that enhance our brand and excite our customers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will bring innovative offers to life and amplify them across all channels to make a significant market impact.
What you'll be doing:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand insights and identify areas for improvement.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and partners to create and execute sales-driving initiatives, including promotional and marketing campaigns.
* Model and champion the Leadership Framework and PizzaExpress values, supporting team growth.
* Promote customer-centric thinking in all trading initiatives.
* Monitor customer feedback and sentiment across platforms to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Identify new sales streams, plan, forecast, and lead the implementation of projects, working closely with teams.
* Oversee trade plan execution, working cross-functionally with teams such as Brand and Marcomms, F&B, Operations, CRM, Digital Product, and Propositions to create compelling promotional activity.
What you'll need:
* Experience in commercial, marketing, or trading roles.
* Strong commercial acumen and numeracy, including understanding budgets, forecasting, and sales analysis.
* Proven history of contributing to multi-channel sales growth in a sizable business, with an understanding of customer dynamics and market forces.
* Knowledge of commercial trading levers and data-led post-campaign analysis.
* Excellent account management skills, capable of maximizing value from strategic partnerships.
