Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)

Our client is at the forefront of transforming how local authorities and private sector partners manage, visualise, and interact with critical asset data.
We are currently seeking a GIS Project Lead with a strong technical foundation in ArcGIS Pro, Python, SQL, and data collection technologies, who is ready to take the next step in their career. This is a customer-facing role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining technical delivery with client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of multiple GIS-based projects from inception to completion.
* Work directly with clients to understand requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
* Develop, manage, and analyse spatial data using ArcGIS Pro.
* Automate workflows and perform advanced geospatial processing using Python and SQL.
* Support and oversee data collection initiatives in the field and ensure data integrity.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality output.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro and ESRI platforms.
* Strong working knowledge of Python and SQL for GIS data manipulation and analysis.
* Experience with field data collection tools and methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work independently or as part of a team.
Desirable:
* Prior experience in a consultancy or client-facing role.
* Understanding of local authority asset management or infrastructure projects.
* Familiarity with FME, ArcGIS Online, or other cloud GIS environments.
