Location: Pharmacy Department, Waverley Court, NHS Lothian.
Responsibilities
* Assist the senior pharmacist(s) YCC Scotland in delivering work required by MHRA regarding the Yellow Card Scheme and the Service Level Agreement.
* Promote the Yellow Card Scheme to potential reporters and compile workload statistics for the MHRA.
* Analyse data from the MHRA to prepare Health Board Reports and annual reports for YCC Scotland.
* Provide administrative assistance for databases in Medicines Information and the Yellow Card Centre Scotland.
* Contribute to the management and maintenance of administrative systems and paper‑based filing systems for both Medicines Information and YCC Scotland.
* Perform any additional duties required to support the Pharmacy Department and the Yellow Card Centre.
Required qualifications and experience
To be considered, applicants must meet the following basic criteria:
* Demonstrated experience in health‑information or pharmacy‑related administrative roles.
* Strong analytical skills and experience working with data reporting systems.
* Knowledge of the MHRA Yellow Card Scheme and relevant pharmaceutical regulations is desirable.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Evidence of suitability for working in the United Kingdom, including relevant permission to work.
