The successful candidate will oversee all kitchen operations, from menu planning to food preparation, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
Duties:
1. Plan and create innovative menus that meet quality standards and delight customers
2. Manage food production processes, including cooking, garnishing, and presentation
3. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
4. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment
5. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
6. Collaborate with the operation manager and bars manager to develop seasonal offerings and special event menus
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a busy restaurant environment
2. Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating delicious dishes
3. Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and manage a team effectively
4. Proficient in food preparation techniques and kitchen management
5. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and food safety regulations
A vegan chef is preferred but not necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
