Are you a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner or Teaching Assistant looking for a nurturing, long-term role in a supportive school community?
Supply Desk are working with one of our friendly and inclusive partner primary schools in Swale, who are looking for a kind, caring, and approachable Early Years professional to join their nursery team from September 2025 until July 2026. This is a full-time role within the nursery provision attached to the primary school, supporting children aged 3–4 during this vital stage of development.
About the Role:
You will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to:
Support the learning and development of children in line with the EYFS framework
Build warm, positive relationships with children, staff, and families
Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can thrive
Act as a Key Person for a group of children, supporting their progress and well-being
Contribute to planning engaging indoor and outdoor activities
Track and record developmental milestones and learning journeys
Support children with a range of needs, including those with SEND
Who We’re Looking For:
A Level 3 Childcare qualification (Early Years Educator or equivalent)
Experience in an Early Years or nursery setting, preferably within a school
A gentle, patient, and positive approach to nurturing young children
Confident understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A reliable and consistent professional with a genuine passion for early education
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
