An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technician to join our team at Dudley Community Equipment service.
The Community Equipment service (CES) supports people with disabilities with their care needs by providing appropriate community equipment across various settings to the population of Dudley MBC.
The service is an integrated and jointly commissioned initiative between Adult Social Care and the NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.
Role Overview
As a CES Technician you will be responsible for the distribution, fitting, repair and collection of equipment on loan from the Community Equipment Service to help facilitate early hospital discharge and maintain people in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Complete daily deliveries and collections.
2. Recycle, service and test community equipment.
3. Use computers, tablets and scanners for work tasks.
4. Ensure vehicle is loaded, cleaned and maintained.
5. Support the leadership team with various tasks.
6. Report to the stores Senior Technician and work closely with the CES Senior OT.
Working Arrangement
Attendance: Working in the office 3+ days a week (pro-rata) or onsite full time.
