We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice. You will be responsible for supporting both patients and dental professionals, making your contribution vital to the overall success of our clinic.
Responsibilities
* Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
* Provide excellent patient care by welcoming patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
* Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment to comply with health and safety regulations.
* Manage appointment scheduling, including confirming appointments and following up with patients as needed.
* Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
* Utilise IT systems for record keeping, appointment management, and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
* A recognised qualification in dental nursing is preferred but not essential; relevant experience will be considered.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members.
* A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
* Familiarity with IT systems related to dental practice management is advantageous.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
