About the Role
This is a hands-on role that often involves working to stressful time frames. The ideal candidate will be practical, calm under pressure, and adaptable, with the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections, record findings, and produce improvement-focused reports for customers
* Record and analyse incidents/accidents, providing statistics and trend data
* Keep up to date with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and industry developments
* Provide specialist advice in areas such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery, and occupational health
* Carry out internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards, BRC, GDPR, legislation, and processes
* Support continual improvement of customer management systems and business processes
* Manage quality, environmental, food, and health & safety management systems
* Report internal audit findings and recommendations to top management
* Use company software systems including Clockify,, SharePoint, Pumble, Dropbox, Google Platform, SafetyCulture, Adobe, Canva, and Microsoft Office packages
* Undertake other tasks as required to support the business
Essential Requirements
* Internal Auditor Qualification and minimum 2 years experience
* NEBOSH General Certificate and minimum 2 years experience
* Microsoft knowledge / good IT skills

* Lead Auditor Qualification
* Food Safety Qualification
* Level 6 Health & Safety Qualification
Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
