Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and continuously improve quality control policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
* Lead a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance and mentorship for their development.
* Train staff in measurement and assessment techniques, including calibration equipment, to ensure accuracy and precision.
* Making informed decisions on non-conforming product disposition, prioritizing customer satisfaction and brand reputation.
* Evaluate production quality regularly to guarantee alignment with specifications and industry standards.
* Promote innovation in quality control through the adoption of new technologies and methodologies, staying ahead of the curve in an ever-evolving landscape.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a quality control professional, with a strong background in managing and mentoring teams.
* Advanced metrology skills, including CMM machine programming, to ensure precise measurement and calibration.
* A comprehensive understanding of geometric tolerancing and calibration principles, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
* An Engineering or related field degree is preferred, demonstrating a solid foundation in scientific principles and analytical thinking.
