Bolt Technical are recruiting for Cable Harness Assembly Technicians to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Swindon.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production team supporting new customer projects within highly regulated industries. The role will involve the assembly of high-quality cable harnesses and electrical products, working from technical drawings and specifications within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The company supplies specialist products into industries including aerospace, defence, motorsport, medical, marine, energy, and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Assemble cable harnesses and electrical products to engineering drawings and specifications
* Carry out soldering, crimping, wiring, and general electro-mechanical assembly work
* Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
* Complete quality inspections and ensure products meet required standards
* Identify and report faults, defects, or specification issues during assembly
* Accurately complete production and quality documentation
* Use assembly tools and equipment safely and correctly
* Support continuous improvement and maintain high manufacturing standards
What Theyre Looking For
* Previous experience within an electrical, electronic, or cable assembly environment
* IPC620 experience highly desirable
* Soldering and crimping experience
* Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and assembly instructions
* Strong attention to detail and quality standards
* Good manual dexterity and practical assembly skills
* Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
