The Bank of England's mission is to promote the good of the people of the United Kingdom by maintaining monetary and financial stability. Through our campaigns, we're reaching millions of people on channels they use and through spokespeople they trust. From a new design for banknotes to improving understanding of how the Bank's work promotes economic and financial stability, we develop and deliver innovative low budget campaigns to support the Bank's communication and engagement strategy. The Communications Directorate builds trust and understanding in the Bank's policies and actions so it can better achieve its mission. We do this by being expert, trusted communications professionals working in partnership with all areas of the Bank. The Strategic Communications team is a small team within the Communications Directorate. The Head of Strategic Communications team develops the overall communication and engagement strategy for the Bank. The Campaign Lead determines what campaigns are needed to achieve the strategy's objectives, and how to resource these. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering some of these campaigns. We also have two data, insight and evaluation specialists in the team. The jobholder's main responsibilities will be to develop, deliver and evaluate a set of campaigns and to support the Campaign Lead on other campaigns. The jobholder may also be required to support the Head of Strategic Communications as part of the annual communications plan development which runs alongside the Bank's business planning. Role Responsibilities Campaign Planning & Execution. Develop and deliver campaign plans aligned with strategic goals. Coordinate messaging, creative development, and stakeholder engagement. Monitor performance and adapt strategies to optimise impact. Content Creation. Collaborate with the Creative Communications team to produce compelling content across social media, email, and events. Ensure all visuals and multimedia align with campaign messaging and brand guidelines. Influencer Marketing. Expand the Bank's network of trusted voices through influencer partnerships. Conduct due diligence to protect the Bank's reputation and ensure audience relevance. Build relationships with talent agencies and influencers. Consumer Podcast Engagement. Advance podcast opportunities identified in the Bank's podcast strategy. Identify and secure relevant podcast appearances for Bank spokespeople. Market Research & Analysis. Use data and insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Role requirements Minimum Criteria Campaigns experience. Significant practical experience of developing and delivering high-quality, successful multi-channel campaigns, from insight through to evaluation (particularly low and no-cost campaigns). Essential Criteria Partnership development. Demonstrable experience in identifying, developing, and managing partnerships that enhance campaign reach and impact, including collaboration with external organisations and stakeholders. Communication skills. Experience in building constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Planning and project management: Excellent project management skills and creative thinking to solve problems and manage complex programmes of work, involving inputs from various teams. Salary and Benefits Information We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate. We offer a salary as follows: Location: Leeds, salary circa £46,320 - £52,110 per annum (depending on skills and experience). In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below: Currently a non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/80th of your annual salary for every year worked. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/65th) or decrease (to 1/105th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year. The Bank has the discretion to vary standard accrual rates and dial up and dial down rates at any time and to withdraw dial up and dial down options at any time. A discretionary performance award based on a current award pool.
