DE NADAS, London's first 'empanadería' specialising in Argentinian hand-shaped empanadas, is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to help run its new shop in Kew Gardens.

Reporting into the Operations Manager, this is a full-time role across five days a week (to include weekends) & paid breaks.

Roles & Responsibilities
* Managing part-time staff and organising the staff rota
* Serving customers (including operating the till, making coffee and heating empanadas)
* Ensuring the Shoreditch shop is fully stocked with empanadas, ie. arranging deliveries ahead of time from the central kitchen
* Overseeing catering orders & digital sales platforms (ie Deliveroo) - pre planning stock and ensuring they ready for collection, organising delivery when needed
* Ensuring the Kew Gardens shop has all packaging it needs, as well as other products like coffee beans
* Ensuring all machinery is in good working order, alerting the Operations Manager for any faults/ arranging for repairs where required, as well as managing decor requirements (ie repainting, marketing posters)
* Helping to forecast monthly sales, manage the staff rota and staff time off (i.e holidays and medical)
* Set up and cleaning of the preparation, serving and customer areas
Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum two-years experience working in hospitality; ideally in a 'grab & go' environment
* Experience of managing a small team
* Punctual, organised and friendly demeanour
* Good level of English (spoken)
* Ability to use Word, Excel for stock taking
