A leading organisation within the UK’s nuclear energy sector is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join its expanding team in Bridgwater, working on high-profile projects. The company is internationally recognised for providing innovative, high-value engineering solutions for the design, construction, maintenance, and development of nuclear infrastructure. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the installation, strip-out, overhaul, and refurbishment of mechanical equipment. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical principles, metallurgy, and engineering standards, along with the ability to interpret GA, CAD, and ISO drawings. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings. Follow established procedures and relevant quality standards, contributing to the preparation and maintenance of quality records and documentation. Maintain tools and equipment used for assembly, calibration, and fitting tasks.
