Planning Manager
Experienced planning professional leading the strategic development and delivery of programmes across complex construction projects. Responsible for aligning project timelines, resources, and methodologies to achieve efficient and successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading programme development across tender and delivery stages
• Establishing construction sequencing, methodologies, and planning strategies
• Managing and maintaining contract programmes, including critical path analysis and change control
• Overseeing resource planning (labour, plant, materials) to optimise performance and cost
• Supporting contract management with subcontractors and stakeholders
• Driving data-led decision-making through KPIs and performance analysis
• Mentoring and developing planning team members
Key skills and expertise:
• Advanced project planning and scheduling (Primavera P6, MS Project, ASTA, Excel)
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, risk management, and project controls
