Role Overview
South Staffordshire College is looking to employ a dynamic, energetic, and enthusiastic full-time Electrical Lecturer to join our expanding and successful team. The introduction of “T” Level qualifications and green technologies in our new Green Village Centre will allow us to expand and invigorate our curriculum with additions such as EV Charging, Solar Voltaic courses and the development of enhanced digital technologies into curriculum delivery.
All staff are expected to uphold safeguarding and promote the welfare of children and young people. Enhanced DBS checks, including barred list information, are required for this role.
Responsibilities
* Teach across a range of Electrical subjects to Level 3, supporting high quality delivery within the area of learning
* Support learners through appropriate induction, personal support and initial assessments as required by college policies
* Prepare teaching and learning programmes to a high standard using appropriate individual and group techniques
* Use e-learning activities and materials to encourage active participation in learning
Qualifications
* Relevant vocational experience and demonstrable ability to teach across a range of Electrical subjects to Level 3
* Professional teaching qualification or actively working towards one
* Delivery experience with a passion for innovative, interactive sessions and providing support, inspiration and guidance to learners
* Flexible approach and excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
