About the Opportunity
Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams are delivering support to Hinkley Point C (New build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), helping develop technologies in SMR (Small modular Reactor) capability and working towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.
Working in both client facing and internal roles we are delivering major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We are driving to deliver safe, high quality and to time solutions by thinking innovatively and working collaboratively.
As the Functional Lead for Reporting and Data Analytics you will hold functional ownership for all Reporting and Data Analytics across Sizewell C meaning you are responsible for the ownership, deployment, and continuous improvement of all the Reporting and Data Analytics elements of the project. Our team will enable successful delivery of the SZC Project through proactive Project Controls that drives forward-looking solutions to continuously improve performance. Key responsibilities will be:
1. Strategic leadership and line management of the Reporting and Data Analytics Function
2. Establishment of a Performance Reporting Framework and embedment within SZC
3. Delivery and advancement of ‘Digital by Default’ reporting
4. Establishment of a Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Framework
5. Build and maintain a high performing team with direct line management and functional management of resources deployed into the SZC delivery teams.
6. Accountable for the on-time production and quality of all month end Performance Reports
7. Ensure SZC is viewed by the Construction Industry as an exemplar in Reporting Data Analytics through knowledge sharing, networking and delivering presentations to the sector.
8. Management of stakeholders across SZC from Board to Delivery
9. Responsible for 8 to 10 Direct Reports (at peak) and up to 15 functionally
Here's What You'll Need:
10. Degree or equivalent qualification in business analysis, accounting, finance, construction, engineering or project management, or related technical field.
11. A track record of implementing reporting solutions on Cloud platforms and developing reporting products for multiple stakeholders on large and complex infrastructure projects.
12. Expert user of a range of reporting and analytics software and project controls systems particularly Power BI.
13. Demonstrable experience of successfully managing a team in a matrix structure on a mega project.
14. Extensive experience with increasing responsibility showing an ability to manage stakeholders from Board to Delivery level.
15. Deliverables focused and an accomplished problem solver, rising to meet any challenge.
