Overview

We’re working with a Dunstable-based business seeking a detail-oriented Administrator to join their events team. The role focuses on providing administrative support for the day-to-day running of events and projects, acting as a main point of contact for clients, delegates, and suppliers.


Responsibilities

* Provide assistance to the project lead/team by researching ideas, offering administrative support, and assisting with budgets.
* Support the project lead/team with taking briefs, creating meeting agendas, and content reports.
* Prepare and schedule post-event debriefs involving clients, internal departments, and suppliers.
* Assist the project lead in scheduling, researching, and developing creative solutions and concepts, ensuring client brand guidelines are applied consistently.
* Collaborate with colleagues to foster a collaborative team environment and mentor new and existing Event Administrators by contributing to team meetings.
* Undertake all other duties deemed appropriate to the role.


Requirements/What We Are Looking For

* Previous administration experience; highly detail-oriented and well-organised.
* Strong IT knowledge and the ability to learn digital platforms quickly.
* Confident team player who can collaborate within a team and also work independently.
* Resilient under pressure with a commitment to accuracy and high standards when working to tight deadlines.
* Excellent planning and prioritisation skills; well-organised individual.
* Enthusiastic and passionate about your work; fluent in spoken and written English.

Salary: £25k to £28k dependent on experience. This is a full-time role; a reduced schedule (e.g., 9:00–14:30) may be considered to suit school runs or similar commitments.

Location: Office-based in Dunstable. Applicants will ideally need to drive and have regular access to their own vehicle due to the location of the offices.
