We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Assistants.
You will play an essential role in providing high-quality care for our clients, supporting them with their daily activities and promoting their independence in a warm, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care & Daily Living: Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities to promote independence.
* Emotional Support & Companionship: Offer companionship, emotional support, and be a source of comfort to clients, ensuring their well-being and safety.
* Meal Preparation & Feeding: Help with meal preparation and assist clients during mealtimes to ensure their nutritional needs are met.
* Medication Assistance: Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring safety and accuracy.
* Housekeeping & Domestic Support: Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, laundry, tidying up, and cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
* Appointments & Outings: Escort clients to appointments, social events, and outings, ensuring they have safe and enjoyable experiences outside the home.
* Monitoring & Reporting: Observe and report any changes in a client's condition to the supervisor, ensuring any necessary care adjustments are made promptly.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Experience: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidates.
* Personality: A compassionate and caring nature is essential. You must be patient, understanding, and able to relate well to clients from all walks of life.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Independence & Reliability: Able to work independently, follow instructions, and be punctual in keeping appointments.
* Transportation: Reliable transportation for traveling between clients' homes is required.
* Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening for employment.
Shift Availability:
* Afternoon to Evening Shifts: 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm/9:00 pm (Monday to Sunday)
* Weekend Shifts: Waking night shifts, 6:00 pm - 9:00 am (Saturday and Sunday), lone working.
* Must be able to commit to working at least one weekend per week, or every other weekend.
