Job Title: Wills & Probate Solicitor – 4+ PQE

A leading Legal 500 firm in Lancashire is seeking an experienced Wills & Probate Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its well-established and respected Private Client team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with strong technical expertise and a client-focused approach to manage a varied and high-quality caseload within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drafting and reviewing Wills, including complex Wills with trusts, business, and agricultural elements
* Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare)
* Managing full estate administration, including probate applications, asset collection, tax compliance, and distribution
* Advising on inheritance tax planning, Deeds of Variation, and the creation and implementation of trusts
* Registering and administering Will-based trusts
* Providing tailored, empathetic advice during sensitive family situations
* Ensuring compliance with SRA, Lexcel, and other regulatory standards
* Maintaining accurate records using legal case management systems
* Contributing to business development and representing the firm at events
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in Wills & Probate
* Demonstrable experience in:
* Drafting Wills
* Establishing various types of trusts
* Preparing LPAs
* Full estate administration
* STEP qualification (or working towards) is desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
