Senior Project Engineer – Highway
The ideal candidate will contribute to delivering roadway, traffic, drainage, and safety designs for state agencies and municipalities. Responsibilities include preparing calculations, layouts, estimates, and specifications under project managers, and leading junior and staff engineers and CADD teammates.
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will:
* Lead an integrated, multi-discipline team solving technical project challenges
* Understand project budget, scope, schedule, and development
* Contribute to technical and price proposals
* Monitor project hours, costs, and timelines, providing recommendations to keep projects on track
* Develop professional relationships with client peers
* Manage engineering staff and prioritize tasks based on schedule and resource availability
* Proficiently handle technical writing, editing, and presentations
* Identify improvement areas and share best practices
* Develop person-hour estimates and budgets
* Act as a technical lead in your area of expertise
* Potentially oversee overall project quality control
* Pursue career growth through technical or project management specialization
Requirements:
* BS in Civil Engineering (BSCE); MSCE preferred
* 10+ years of relevant experience
* Current PE license in NH, MA, ME, or VT
* Experience with multiple engineering programs
