About the Role
As one of the Model Bookers you will be at the forefront of the Model Team, working closely with the Seniors, Team Leaders, Leads and Management at ASOS Studios. With an ASOS casting eye you\'ll be constantly searching for the next generation of ASOS faces, reacting to new briefs and building and nurturing agency relationships. You will supply a continuous stream of exciting talent to be one step ahead of the competition and deliver the best e-commerce assets for our 20-something customer. The role requires an unflappable, driven and hardworking individual with a passion for the brand. You will be able to work as part of and support a team with a creative, strategic and operational mindset. It is vital that you are passionate about models and fashion and have an established knowledge of the industry and current social trends and how they relate to the ASOS customer.
What You’ll be Doing
* Reporting directly into the Senior Model Booker, you will contribute to the day-to-day running of the Model team.
* Work with other bookers to source options and bookings for all talent bookings required for ASOS in-house shoots, approx. 30 models per day (including but not limited to rec & unrec ecomm, marketing location shoots, internal testing, social bookings and other creative projects); problem solve as needed to help all studios achieve shoot targets.
* Develop a creative ability to understand ASOS\'s model families and their aesthetic for guys and girls; use this to recognise appropriate model suggestions and ensure imagery aligns with the expected standard.
* Contribute to the evolving ASOS talent brief, keeping up to date with the diverse ASOS customer to ensure representation across all category pages.
* Take ownership of models you have booked, work with the studio team to maximise each model\'s potential and ensure consistency over time.
* Deal with any model issues professionally and in line with ASOS behaviours policy.
* Nurture existing relationships with international model agencies and establish new ones when required, ensuring our reputation is maintained and suppliers operate to our standards.
* Secure talent as “ASOS models”, working with agencies to ensure successful models are available across multiple platforms.
* Understand the model team budget and rate structure to facilitate confident negotiation with agencies.
* Work closely with Seniors, Leads and Management to deliver the department strategy and build strong, professional relationships with the wider studio team.
* Ensure budget, cost per product, creative quality and volumetric KPIs are adhered to.
* Maintain strong awareness of model analysis to inform casting decisions; demonstrate excellent brand awareness by reviewing areas, researching ideas and assessing competition as needed.
* Encourage the team to be authentic, brave and creative while following company and departmental strategies; lead by example.
* Deliver projects to support the department strategy and undertake other adhoc tasks defined by the Model Team Lead and Manager.
* Contribute to departmental technology software and hardware launches when required and participate in team/department meetings.

Qualifications
* Experience in the model booking industry
* Previous model booking experience with existing agency relationships
* A good understanding of shoot production in a commercial environment
* A passion for models and knowledge of models
* A methodical, accurate and highly organised approach with a keen eye for detail
* Excellent communication, problem solving and strong interpersonal skills
* The ability to remain calm under pressure and think on your feet
* A can-do attitude and high level of efficiency
* An unflappable nature who thrives in a fast-paced environment
* Outstanding negotiation skills and ability to work confidently with contracts, usages and block bookings
* Lots of energy and enthusiasm, and a real team player
* Skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, InDesign and general day-to-day PC/MAC operations
