About the role:
As Head Teacher, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the school, ensuring a high standard of education within a faith-based setting. You will guide staff, students, and families in maintaining the school's ethos, delivering an engaging curriculum, and fostering strong links with the wider parish and community.
* Practicing Catholic with a commitment to the teachings and values of the Catholic Church.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and significant teaching experience.
* Leadership Experience (e.g., Deputy Head or Assistant Head role).
* National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) (often desirable but not always mandatory).
* Strong Understanding of Catholic Education and its role in the community.
* Ability to Lead and Inspire Staff and Pupils while fostering a positive school culture.
* Excellent Knowledge of the National Curriculum and educational policies.
* Commitment to Safeguarding and Child Protection, ensuring a safe environment for all pupils.
* Experience in Catholic School Leadership, including involvement in religious education and pastoral care.
* Ability to Develop and Implement Strategic Plans for school improvement.
* Excellent Communication and Relationship-Building Skills, especially with parents, governors, and the parish community.
* Budget Management and Resource Allocation Experience.
