Overview
Lead Pharmacist - Medicines Management at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. We are seeking a dedicated and organised pharmacist to lead and support the High Cost Drug (HCD), Medicines Information (MI) and Formulary team. The successful applicant will have previous experience in HCD, MI and Formulary, and will work with multi-disciplinary teams to improve patient care.
Responsibilities
* Ensure day-to-day activities relating to High Cost Drug (HCD), Medicines Information (MI) and Formulary are carried out to high standards and in line with trust values.
* Engage with stakeholders within the Trust and external organisations to support seamless patient care.
* Line manage other staff and support education and training of others.
* Work closely with the Principal Pharmacist for Medicines Management to implement objectives and strategies for HCD, MI and Formulary.
* Participate in the pharmacy late-duty, on-call and weekend working rotas.
* Work with colleagues to ensure tasks related to Medicines Information, Formulary, High Cost Drugs and Homecare are carried out effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience in High Cost Drugs (HCD), Medicines Information (MI) and Formulary.
* Line management and educational/training responsibilities within a Pharmacy setting.
* Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders and work across interfaces to improve patient care.
