The team at Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school within Coventry to appoint an English teacher on a full-time basis.
Location: CV5, Coventry
Hours: Full Time (term time only)
Rate of Pay: MPS/UPS
If you have:
- qualified teacher status (QTS)
- experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
- a bachelor's degree in English
- confident behaviour management skills
Then we want to hear from you!
If successful, you will be responsible for:
- planning and delivering English lessons to Years 7-11
- teaching A-Level English, if confident and experienced (desired but not essential)
- assessing pupils progress on a regular basis, providing feedback to support their learning & development
- managing classroom behaviours effectively, setting high expectations for learning and conduct within the classroom
- safeguarding all children, staff and people within the school, at all times - reporting any concerns to higher authorities within the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
