Horton Housing are currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Property Service Asset Manager. The successful candidate will be based in Bradford and report to Head of Property Services & Asset Management, leading a team comprising a Project Manager and Project Officer. You will provide a proactive asset management service for planned maintenance and cyclical work and the delivery of refurbishment projects, ensuring the effective delivery of asset management and related activities in line with approved budgets and programmes, and to the required standards. The Property Service Assets Manager will manage the Group’s leasehold portfolio, taking a lead role in identifying and acquiring leased properties and other new stock to meet defined business needs. You will also contribute to the Group’s new-build development programmes. In return this role offers a salary of £41,493 per annum, alongside benefits such as six weeks holiday (plus bank holidays), interest free employee loan scheme, and an exceptional learning and development offering. You will need: Leadership and line management experience Experience in property related asset management Experience of managing compliance with HSE guidance and relevant legislation Skilled contract negotiator with proven ability to manage and monitor contractors Project management experience Budget management, control and reporting Experience of undertaking inspections for quality control purposes Relevant maintenance, construction or facilities management qualification(s) and evidence of continuous professional development in a related role This role requires a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle that can be insured for business use.
