Supervising Social Worker | Independent Fostering Agency | Derby Locum Supervising Social Worker required to join a not-for-profit Independent Fostering Agency Hybrid working - 1 day in office per week Office base: Derby You must have a social work qualification and full SWE registration Experience of working directly with mainstream foster parents needed Must have Fostering experience from an Independent Fostering Agency, Local Authority or other similar setting Supervising and supporting foster families, in looking after children and young people within their homes and contributing to the recruitment and assessment of new foster families Monthly visits to foster placements as well as supervision visits & unannounced visits Monthly child progress reports Pay rate £35-£38ph Initial 3 month contract which could lead to permanentTo be considered, it is essential that you have a recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration as well as recent or significant relevant experience in a similar role.
